“Ruling elders, together with teaching elders (ministers), exercise leadership, government, spiritual discernment, and discipline and have responsibilities for the life of a congregation as well as the whole church, including ecumenical relationships.” PC(USA) Book of Order (G-2.0301)

Kreutz Creek Presbyterian Church currently has 8 ruling elders divided into three classes.  Each class of elders serves three years. An elder may serve two consecutive terms.
